Last night, while walking down Pearl Street after devouring the cuppa magic that is an affogado, two fellow artists (and devourers of life) and I ruminated on the meaning of ‘a la mode.’ Meaning at once “with ice cream on top or on the side” and “the current trend,” it is a rich word to roll around on the tongue and savor. I asked Bill Keys, the Pearl Street Poem Guy, to whip me up a poem about “Two stars and a moon a la mode,” and I must say, it was amazing.
As you may know, I like my a la mode dairy-free and coconutty. So I compiled all of my ice cream recipes into one downloadable place to save you the searching to find all the yum-yums on the site. Scoop up the lovely coconuts here, prepare to moan, and share with those you love. You’re welcome.

I’m thinking of heading out for an ice cream maker!!!!!!!
oh how I adore that you quote Walt W.
